Cayman Blount's contested header in the 86th minute knotted the match for Northwest at 2-2, but neither team could find the golden goal in two overtime periods as the Rangers and Jones County ended in a 2-2 draw.
Both teams moved to 1-1-1 on the season with the tie.
Jones County struck first in the 26th minute, as Dalton Morgan knocked in a Davis Gibson rebound to put the Bobcats up 1-0.

Peyton McKnatt went one-on-one with the keeper on a brilliant
Michael Ledbetter pass to score his fourth goal of the season, tying the match at 1-1 at halftime.
Much like the first half, both teams were highly physical, with a combined total of 18 fouls committed in the second half. After being outshot 13-4, the Rangers also ramped up their attack with nine second half shots.
After JCJC's Davis Gibson put the Bobcats up 2-1 in the 72nd minute, Blount's late header evened the match to force overtime.
Though both teams had their chances at the game-winner in 20 minutes of bonus time, neither team was able to convert, leaving the match tied at 2-2.
Freshman
Carson Tackett came away with a career-high 12 saves for the Rangers, while Hudson Matheny totaled eight saves for Jones County.
Northwest was outshot 26-18 and 14-10 on goal. The Rangers led the way in the final foul count, 19-17.
