Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

2016: Played for coach Junior Noel at Copiah-Lincoln Community College…named team’s Player of the Year.
 
High School: Played for coach Chris Faulkner at Independence…helped the Wildcats to a 10-7 record as a senior and the Region 2-3A championship, the first in program history…led IHS to the second round of the Class 3A state playoffs…completed four hat-tricks…also played football and baseball for IHS, drilling 45 punts for 1,495 yards in his senior season…off the field, graduated with 4.0 GPA and was awarded one of 11 scholarships from the Memphis chapter of the National Football Foundation.
 
Personal: Son of Kenda and Cameron Blount…father, Cameron, played baseball for Northwest from 1987-88 and served as athletic director at NWCC from 2010-2013…mother, Kenda, played soccer at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock...has two brothers, Kyle (25) and Kenzee (17)…brother, Kyle, played baseball at Northwest from 2011-12…enjoys hanging out with friends in his spare time…studying biology/pre-med…born April 22, 1998.
