SENATOBIA – Four different Rangers found the back of the net, including freshman
Lance Crabtree twice, as Northwest rolled over Meridian 5-0 Tuesday afternoon in the home-opener.
Northwest stayed unbeated through its first three matches of the year and has outscored opponents 12-2, improving to 2-0-1 overall. Meridian fell to 1-2.
Crabtree netted the Rangers' opening goal in the 36th minute, going top shelf, and then scored again just 5:39 later to give Northwest a 2-0 lead at half. Crabtree, who was named the MACJC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, has scored five goals in his last two matches.

Bryant Young (1) and
Cameron Casey (1) all added second half goals and the rout was on.
Northwest outshot Meridian 24-10, including an overwhelming 12-2 advantage in the opening 45 minutes.
Matthew Williams posted his first career shutout, stopping all six Eagle shots he faced.
Northwest hosts Holmes on Friday at 5 p.m. in the north division opener for both teams. Live stats will be available.
