POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. – In the fourth rodeo event of the season at Three Rivers Community College last weekend, freshman Alex Lockhart was the lone qualifier for either rodeo team in giving Northwest 10 points on the men's side.

"The past few rodeos have been rough on our rodeo team," head coach Shelli Benton said. "Alex was our only qualifying ride coming in with 61 points at Three Rivers. We will spend the week off refocusing on each event and plan on finishing up the semester strong at Southern Arkansas University next week."

Through four events, Northwest's men's team has 240 total points and sits in eighth place in the Ozark Region. The women did not place in the region standings.

The final event of the fall is set for Nov. 5-7 at Southern Arkansas.
