GOODMAN – The Northwest men's tennis team opened up a five-game road swing in winning fashion on Thursday at Holmes, knocking off the host Bulldogs 6-3 for its fourth consecutive victory.

Northwest took 2 of 3 doubles points thanks to Jon Morgan Bell/Max Stanford at No. 1 and Weldon Meng/Tyler Newman at No. 3 who won by 8-5 and 8-6 finals. 

All six singles matches were won in straight sets, with Holmes taking wins at No.'s 3 and 5 and the Rangers winning at No.'s 1, 2, 4 and 6 behind Stanford, Joseph Shidler, Newman and Chip Malone.

Northwest, now 6-2 on the year, travels to Fulton on Wednesday, April 2 for a 2 p.m. first serve.
