MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Sophomore Ben Cullum helped the Northwest men's rodeo team to a spring-best sixth place finish at the Southern Arkansas University rodeo this past weekend, taking first place in the bull riding event.

Cullum won the championship round and the average in the bull riding at SAU and is pictured showing off his belt buckle. He scored a 134 to win his first event of the spring. Cullum also placed fourth at Arkansas-Monticello a week back.

As a team, the men were sixth of 10 teams.

The rodeo teams will return to action March 27-29 in West Point at the EMCC Rodeo.
