WEST POINT, Ga. – Nikki McChristian will continue her basketball career after Northwest and has signed her national letter of intent for head coach Tory Wooley and Point University.

"We're excited about having Nikki join our Skyhawk family," Wooley said. "She brings an inside presence and mental toughness to our program. Her energy and confidence alone will make us a better team."

McChristian had a solid sophomore season after transferring from Northeast Mississippi CC, helping lead Northwest to an 18-7 overall record and MACJC North Division Championship.

McChristian averaged 9.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.9 assists-per-game in her only season in Senatobia, shooting 43 percent from the floor and posting five double-doubles.
