Box Score CLARKSDALE – Freshman
Anna Rosenbaum scored a career-high 16 points and Northwest overcame a poor shooting night to knock off Coahoma 73-66 to open north division play.
Northwest won its third game in a row in improving to 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the division, while Coahoma fell to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the north.
Despite being out-shot 42 to 31 percent on the night, it was hustle plays and defense that helped the Lady Rangers to victory. Northwest forced 38 turnovers and had 21 steals that led to 35 points on the other end. It's the fifth time this season forcing 30 or more turnovers.

Carshava Sutton and
Halle Knowles followed with eight. Sutton added a team-high seven rebounds.
