Leatherwood had a big month of April to help the Rangers go 13-3 and jump into the NJCAA Top 10.

The sophomore hit .346 with nine doubles, three home runs, 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He slugged .692 with an impressive .507 on-base percentage. 

For the season, Leatherwood is second on the team in average and extra base hits while leading the Rangers in slugging and on-base percentage.
