Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

For the second time in his standout two-year career, sophomore defensive end Quondarius Qualls has been named Northwest's Athlete of the Month.

Qualls had 19 tackles, including 7.5 tackles-for-loss and 4.5 sacks, as the Rangers made a run to the MACJC Championship game and clinched a second bowl berth in as many seasons.

Qualls is verbally committed to West Virginia University and is expected to sign with the Mountaineers in December.
