David Herrington hit a team-best .456 in the month of March with six doubles, two triples and four home runs. He drove in 18 runs and scored 18 more, both team highs, and added six stolen bases in seven attempts.

For his efforts in a sweep at 18th-ranked EMCC and split with top-ranked Jones County, Herrington was named both the MACJC and NJCAA Division II Player of the Week for the first time of his stellar two-year career.

Herrington is hitting a team-best .444 through 24 games played with nine doubles, two home runs, 21 RBIs and 13 stolen bases.
