After averaging 13.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.0 steals-per-game, freshman guard De'Sean Dockery of Memphis, Tenn. (Ridgeway) has been named the Athlete of the Month for November.
Dockery scored in double figures in five of the seven games (3-4), including a career-high 22 at Mid-South and 20 at Hinds. He shot a combined 54 percent from the floor and 74 percent from the charity stripe in just over 23 minutes of action per contest.Â
For the season, Dockery is averaging a team-best 14.5 points and 4.9 rebounds-per-game and also leading the team in field goal percentage at 53.4 percent. He's added 18 assists and 14 steals for the now 4-4 Rangers.
