SENATOBIA - After two tough losses, Northwest Mississippi Community College women's (2-3) and men's (3-2) tennis team bounced back with both teams amassing MACCC victories over Holmes Community College and Southwest Mississippi Community College. 

Both teams were absolutely dominant in their respective wins over Holmes each winning 9-0. Across all 18 matches, the Rangers only lost two games.  

The momentum continued with solid ranked wins for both teams. The women secured a win over #25 Southwest, and the men secured a win over #23 Southwest.  

Due to how dominant the wins were, it is hard to pick one particular moment that stood out. The women's and men's teams were both able to shine from top to bottom throughout the week.   

"We just competed how we're supposed to," Head Coach Ryan Mounce said. "We went out to handle business the way it's supposed to be done, so I'm happy with that." 

The team will look to maintain this momentum as they head into a week that will see them play four matches, including two conference opponents in Meridian and East Central. 

"I just think we've got momentum. We've just got to ride it." Coach Mounce said. "Everyone's playing well, we just have to keep working hard, keep practicing hard and good things will happen."
