MERIDIAN - Twins Joshua and Jeremy Gibson highlighted the efforts for Northwest in this week's Lou Hart Invitational, ending the tournament as the Rangers' two highest individual finishers.

Joshua Gibson shot 77 in the opening round and finished the tournament 14 over par, tying for 32nd out of 71 participants. Jeremy Gibson finished +20 for the event, ranking 50th overall.

Freshman Matt Cummings also competed independently, finishing +21 and tying Northwest teammate Landon Masterson for 54th on the leaderboard.

As a team, the Rangers placed 10th out of 12 teams, finishing 78 over par. Northwest finished above Southwest Mississippi (11th) and Pearl River (12th).

Next up for the Rangers is the MACCC Championship, scheduled for April 7-8 at Shiloh Ridge in Corinth.
