JACKSON - After helping lead Northwest to its second consecutive appearance in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament, a pair of Lady Rangers have been chosen for All-MACCC honors, the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference announced Tuesday morning.
Freshman forward
Alorian Story received Second Team All-MACCC accolades, while sophomore guard

Story was also a threat under the basket, pulling down a team-high 235 rebounds for an average of 9.8 per game. For the season, she finished with 11 double-doubles, including five games with 20-plus points scored.
Reed-Jones had a strong sophomore campaign, averaging 13.0 points per game. The Oxford native and Jackson State University commit was second on the team in various categories, including points per game, three-pointers made (19), assists (58) and steals (28).
For the season, Reed-Jones had 17 games in double figures, including a season-high of 29 points in an early season road loss at Holmes. She also scored 25 points in an overtime win against Mississippi Gulf Coast on Sophomore Night.
Since taking over as the head coach ahead of the 2022-23 season,
LaTaryl Williams has boasted three All-MACCC selections and two appearances in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament. Eight Lady Rangers have gone on to sign or commit to the four-year level under Williams' leadership, including Reed-Jones.
Northwest finished the 2024-25 season with a 10-15 overall record and a 6-8 mark in the MACCC.
