Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 McCOMB - In a Monday afternoon road trip to Southwest Mississippi, the Northwest men's and women's tennis teams once again left victorious.

Northwest swept doubles play in women's competition, setting the stage for an 8-1 victory. Meanwhile, the Ranger men battled to a 5-4 win, thanks in part to taking two of the three doubles matches.

Freshman Meg Daves scored a shutout victory on No. 4 singles, while Laura Cámara Blanco earned a dominant 6-1, 6-1 victory on No. 2 singles. In the men's match, the Rangers dropped losses on courts one, two and six, but picked up crucial victories from Holden Cooke, Cole Stoddard and Joshua Tedford.

With the sweep, both Northwest teams are now 6-1 on the season and 3-0 against MACCC competition. The Rangers and Lady Rangers will return home on Friday, February 28 against Mississippi Gulf Coast at 10 A.M.
