Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 NEW ALBANY - Northwest was not bothered by the bitter cold at BNA Park on Tuesday morning, as the men's and women's tennis teams left with a clean sweep of Northeast.

In women's competition, the 21st-ranked Lady Rangers earned a 9-0 victory, scoring their third shutout of the season. The men's tennis squad took a 6-3 win against the Tigers, as both Northwest teams advanced their respective records to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the MACCC.

After making quick work of Northeast in women's doubles, the Lady Rangers scored four shutout wins on courts one through three and another from Allie Rawls at No. 6 singles.

Northeast did manage to capture wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles in the men's match, but Northwest swept courts three through six and picked up a pair of victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

Next up for Northwest is a conference battle with Hinds, scheduled for Friday, February 21. The Eagles are unranked in men's competition, but the Lady Eagles hold a No. 24 ranking from the most recent ITA JUCO polls.
