Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 PERKINSTON - Mother Nature forced an early end to the regular season tennis finale for Northwest, as the Lady Rangers and Ranger men fell by a pair of 5-0 finals at Mississippi Gulf Coast on Tuesday afternoon.

Both teams were able to finish doubles competition, with the Lady Rangers completing two singles' matches with Holly Stewart at No. 2 and Raney Peacock in the No. 6 slot. In men's competition, the duo of Gabriel Koonce and Joshua Tedford battled to an 8-3 loss on court one, while Campbell Owens and Spencer Rios fell 8-2 at the No. 2 slot.

Rios and Dallas Lane competed at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, with both players falling in identical 6-0, 6-1 finals.

Northwest concludes the regular season with a 7-6 overall record in women's competition, including a 4-5 conference finish. The Ranger men drop to 2-12 on the season and 2-8 in the MACCC.

Both teams will await their NJCAA Region 23 Tournament positioning. The women's tournament is scheduled for run from April 11-13, while the men's tournament is slated for April 18-20.
