Box Score SUMMIT - Goals from sophomores Emma Earwood, Penny Warner and Allie Reed Greer helped No. 1 Northwest take a 3-0 halftime lead, which they held until the final horn at Southwest Mississippi on Tuesday afternoon.

Northwest got on the board in the 12th minute with Earwood's score, followed by a goal from Warner in the 29th minute. Greer provided the final dagger of the first half, scoring off a deep kick that sailed into the top corner of the net in the 40th minute.

Although the Lady Rangers did not score in the second half, the Northwest defense continued to clamp down on Southwest Mississippi, denying any goals from the Lady Bears.

Northwest now sits at 14-0 overall and 9-0 in the MACCC. The Lady Rangers will host Copiah-Lincoln on Sophomore Night, scheduled for Friday, October 25. The sophomores will be recognized at 3:30 P.M., while kickoff is slated for 5 P.M.
