FULTON - A pair of second half goals from
Peyton Coker and
Luis Cosme did little to erase a 2-0 first half deficit, as Northwest wound up on the wrong end of a 5-2 decision at Itawamba on Tuesday afternoon.
Northwest fell to 1-8-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the MACCC North Division, while the Indians improved to 6-5 on the season and 5-2 in division competition.

Trailing 3-0, the Rangers on the board after a misplaced ball from the Indians' goalkeeper resulted in a put-back from Coker in the 67th minute.
Northwest's momentum would be short-lived though, as Diego Valenzuela pushed the Indians back to a three-goal advantage in the 73rd minute.
Cosme added the Rangers' second and final goal off a free kick in the 80th minute, only for Itawamba to strike back with a goal from Ruben Perez in the 82nd minute, sealing the match at a 5-2 loss for Northwest.
