RIDGELAND - A historical season came to an end in Saturday afternoon's MACCC Semifinals, as No. 11 Northwest fell 6-0 to second-ranked Jones College.
Northwest fell behind early with Jones College scoring three goals and the Lady Bobcats did few favors in the second half, adding three more. The match also marked the first time an opponent has shutout the Lady Rangers all season.
Jones College outshot Northwest 25-9 for the contest, including a 16-4 margin in shots on goal. The Lady Rangers did get nine corner kicks, but were ultimately unable to connect on any.
Maggie Olive collected nine saves in her final appearance, finishing her career with 251 total saves, good for third all-time behind Ashley Nelson (252; 2014-15) and record-holder Angel Hailey (255; 2017-18). She also ranks second in program history with eight shutouts.

Molly Rose totaled two shots apiece, with both of Rose's coming on goal.Â
Northwest concludes its season at 15-3-1, the best record in program history.Â
