2021 [Freshman]: Helped Northwest to a 15-3-1 overall record and the MACCC/Region 23 semifinals...played in 16 of the team's 19 matches last season, scoring five goals and eight assists for 18 total points...notched a season-best two assists in the Lady Rangers' 2-0 playoff win against Meridian on November 2...took 51 shots on the season, 32 coming on-goal...earned First Team All-MACCC honors...off the pitch, named to President's List for Spring 2022 semester.

High School: Played for coach Nicole Inman at Bryant...helped the Lady Hornets to a 19-2 record and the Arkansas Activities Association Class 6A state championship following her sophomore season...was also a member of Bryant’s 7A state runner-up team following her freshman campaign...selected to the 6A All-state squad following her sophomore season...also chosen All-Conference after her freshman year...off the pitch, a member of the Honors Club at BHS.

Personal: Daughter of Lorena and Luis Hernandez...has three siblings: Beatriz (20), Luis (17) and Jacqueline (11)...studying psychology...likes to paint in her spare time...nickname is “Mel”...born October 14, 2002.
