Kavonte Tunstall couldn't miss from three-point range in Thursday evening's 80-57 victory for Northwest.
Tunstall, a Byhalia native, scored 18 of his career-high 20 points from beyond the arc, sparking a furious second half scoring surge as the Rangers buried Mississippi Delta.
Northwest scored a total of 47 second half points, as the Rangers turned an 11-point halftime lead into a blowout win on the home floor, improving to 5-1 on the season.
T.J. Hannah also finished in double figures for Northwest, adding 10 points.
Isaiah Gaines was held under double digits, but still posted nine points, including six in the second half.
Morgan Green led Mississippi Delta with 13 points, but the quick guard sat for a good portion of the second half with four fouls. Rylen Walker also chipped in eight points for the Trojans in the loss.
Northwest will take a break from action for Thanksgiving, but will return to Howard Coliseum on Monday, November 29 against Arkansas State Mid-South. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 P.M. with live stats and broadcast coverage on Ranger TV (nwccrangers.com/watch) and Facebook Live.
