SENATOBIA – The Northwest men's tennis team was shutout for a second time in as many matches on Friday, falling 9-0 to 13th-ranked Meridian.
Meridian swept all three points in doubles play, and with the exception of a three-set thriller at No. 2 singles, followed suit with wins in all six singles matches.
Dalton Young battled Will Swindoll to a 5-7, 6-2, 10-8 final at No. 2 singles for the Rangers' best chance.
Northwest will host nationally-ranked East Central on Wednesday, March 29 at 2 p.m.
