Emily Newman picked up the Lady Rangers' first point in doubles play, defeating Georgia Campbell/Emily Buster 8-5.
Northwest fell 8-6 at No. 1 and lost by default at No. 2 doubles to fall behind 2-1 early.
Standard picked up a win at No. 5 singles, defeating Lizbeth Jiminez 6-1, 7-5.
Harlie Ray and Newman forced their matches into tiebreakers before bowing out.
Itawamba won at No.'s 1-3 in straight sets, including a default win at No. 2.
Northwest will try and bounce back on Friday, March 24 at noon against 20th-ranked Meridian.
