SENATOBIA – Northwest was swept in straight sets on Monday in its 2017 season-opener against the 21st-ranked Itawamba Indians.
ICC made quick work of the Rangers in doubles play, winning all three matches by 8-4, 8-1 and 8-0 finals.
The trend continued in singles action, with the Indians taking all six for a 9-0 win.

Zak Harbin put up good fights at No.'s 2 and 3 before falling 6-3, 6-4 and 6-2, 6-3 to Brendan Jobe and Ezra Blissard.
Northwest will look for its first win of the season on Friday, March 24 against 13th-ranked Meridian.
