SENATOBIA – Playing its third ranked opponent in three matches to start the season, Northwest dropped an 8-1 decision to 20th-ranked Jones County Saturday afternoon at The ROC in women's tennis action.
JCJC improved to 7-0 while Northwest fell to 0-3.

Piper Johnson gave the 4th-ranked duo of Rodriguez/Currie a scare at No. 1 doubles before bowing out 8-5.
Johnson got some revenge, however, in singles play, defeating Currie 7-5, 6-3 for the Lady Rangers' lone point of the match and the first win of her collegiate career.
JCJC followed with straight set wins at No. 1 and 3-6 to run away with an 8-1 win.
Northwest will return to action next Tuesday, March 22 at Northeast. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
