SENATOBIA – Playing its third ranked opponent in three matches to start the season, Northwest dropped a 7-2 decision to 23rd-ranked Jones County Saturday afternoon at The ROC.
JCJC improved to 4-3 on the season while Northwest fell to 1-2.
The Rangers trailed 3-0 after doubles play.

Dalton Young gave Chase Pennington/Taylor Tamberg a good fight at No. 2 doubles before bowing out 8-4.
JCJC put the match away with wins at No.'s 1 and 6 singles but Northwest still managed a pair of wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
Zak Harbin rallied from a 6-2 loss in the opening set and rallied with 6-3 and 10-8 victories to win his match.
Dalton Young defeated Pennington 6-2, 7-5.
Luke Wilson gave Luke Armstrong a battle at No. 5 singles, winning the opening set 7-5 before dropping consecutive sets 6-3 and 11-9.
Northwest will return to action next Tuesday, March 22 at Northeast. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
