ELLISVILLE – Jones County scored four unanswered goals, including three in the second half, to down Northwest 5-2 in the MACJC Quarterfinals on Tuesday night.
Christian Clements fired in a kick from 25 yards out in the 16th minute to get Northwest on the board first but Jones County issued a response less than three minutes later, as Donaldo Martinez brought JCJC to a 1-1 tie.

JCJC would tie things up right before the half, however, as Joseph Todd scored on a breakaway in the 41st minute to give the Bobcats a ton of momentum heading into the break.
Todd found the back of the net again within the first minute of the second half, thanks to an assist from Keiran Robbins, giving the Bobcats their first lead at 3-2.
After a missed Northwest penalty kick from
Bryant Young in the 49th minute, the Bobcats took full advantage with a goal from Robbins in the 51st minute that extended the Jones County lead to 4-2.
Robbins added one last Jones County goal in the 60th minute to give the Bobcats their fifth and final score.
Jones County outshot Northwest 22-16 and came away with an 11-7 on-goal advantage. The Rangers had a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
Brandon Carrillo totaled six saves for the Rangers in the loss to finish his freshman season with 89 total. Darren Ross finished with five for the Bobcats.
Northwest ends the 2016 season with a 6-7-1 record and the first back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons. It's head coach
