SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Northwest men's tennis team is ranked No. 24 in the final ITA Junior/Community Colleges National Rankings for the 2014 season released Friday.

Northwest crashed the polls two weeks back at No. 20, their first-ever known national ranking.

Under second-year head coach Troy Howell, Northwest closed the year an impressive 10-3 overall and 5-0 against ranked opponents.

Both the men's and women's tennis programs were rechartered two years ago and the 2014 season marked the first full season since the early 2000's.
