FULTON – The Northwest women's tennis team dropped a third consecutive match on Friday in a 6-3 decision at Itawamba. The Lady Rangers fell to 1-3 on the year while Itawamba improved to 3-0 on the young season. 

Julia Roberson/Ashley Roberson defeated Angela Hudson/Aliesha Hudson 8-4 for the Rangers' lone doubles point win at No. 3 as Itawamba led 2-1.

In singles action, A. Roberson and Hannah Swtizer picked up wins at No.'s 3/4 singles. Roberson defeated Anna Claire Griffin 6-0, 6-2 and Switzer knocked off Amber Frederick 6-1, 6-2. 

Northwest returns to action two weeks from today, hosting Copiah-Lincoln on Friday, March 21.
