SENATOBIA – It's official. Tennis is returning to Northwest in the spring of 2013.

Troy Howell, in his second year as the Lady Rangers' women's basketball assistant coach, will take over head coaching duties at the end of the hoops season.

Northwest last played tennis in the spring of 2005 with Herbert Davis at the helm.

Former sports information director Brett Brown headed up both tennis programs between 1996-2004 and tutored four NJCAA All-Americans during his nine-year tenure.
