Freshman point guard Mercades Ward led Northwest to three consecutive wins to close out the month of November and put the Lady Rangers back over the .500 mark at 4-3 overall.

Ward averaged 11.9 points, 4.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in seven games played (five starts), pouring in a career-high 26 points and five steals in a 59-55 win over Lawson State.
