In a 3-3 month for the Rangers, freshman forward Anthony Fernandez of New Albany scored four goals and added five assists for 13 total points.Â
Fernandez fired off 42 shots, including 23 on goal, for a .548 SOG%. He netted the game-winner in a 6-2 win over Copiah-Lincoln on Oct. 1, a third-straight as part of a three-match win streak.Â
He closed the year as the team's leader in goals (nine), assists (seven), points (25), shots (71), shots-on-goal (35) and game-winners (three).Â
