Sophomore Jessica Holliday was outstanding in the circle in April as Northwest went 13-6 overall (9-3 in division play).

Holliday was 6-1 in nine appearances with a 1.38 ERA and a save, two combined shutouts and a complete game. In 40.2 total innings pitched, Holliday scattered 13 runs (eight earned) with 29 strikeouts and just three walks and allowed only 10 extra-base hits.

Holliday also hit .333 from the plate (9-for-27) with two doubles and four RBIs.
