High School: Played for coach Bill Russell at South Pontotoc...helped the Lady Cougars to a 24-8 record and the third round of the MHSAA Class 4A playoffs as a senior...averaged 14.5 points, 4.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game during her senior campaign...named by the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal and Capital Sports as a Player to Watch prior to her final season...selected to the Mississippi Sports Group Class 4A All-State Third Team and the Capital Sports All-State honorable mention squad...named Region 2-4A Most Valuable Player...four-time All-Region selection...also named to the Northeast Mississippi Basketball Coaches Association 3A-6A All-Star team...chosen to participate in the 4A-6A North/South All-Star Game following her junior season...received team’s awards for Most Assists, Best Free Throw Percentage and Most Points Scored...scored over 2,000 points during her time at SPHS...also played softball for the Lady Cougars...received recruiting interest from MUW, Blue Mountain and multiple MACCC schools.
