Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

High School: Played for head coach Laurel Shute and graduated with special distinction at Horn Lake...appointed team captain her senior season...also played football for Brad Boyette, starring as the first female kicker in program history...finished 5-of-7 on extra points and helped the Eagles to a 9-3 overall record and the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs...off the field, was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated 13th out of 256 students in her senior class...also received interest from Holmes, Meridian and Mississippi Gulf Coast...teammates with former Ranger and current Southern University athlete Tempest Shepherd.
 
Personal: Daughter of Cristina Sanchez and Martin Valdez...married to Adrian Meraz...has five siblings ranging from 10 to 30 years of age who are all avid soccer players...enjoys traveling in her spare time...studying pre-nursing...born October 24, 1999.
