Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

2013: MACJC All-State...MACJC Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 8)...named the Northwest Athlete of the Month (August)...started in all 14 games and led the team in assists (eight), points (24) and shot-on-goal percentage (.824) and tied for the team lead with eight goals...scored the game-winner in the season-opener at Southwest...netted a hat-trick on Sept. 24 in a 6-1 win over Southwest...had a season-best four assists in a 7-2 win over Co-Lin on Oct. 1...had a .235 shot percentage and .824 shot-on-goal percentage...has made the President's List (3.75 GPA-higher) both semesters at Northwest.  

High School: Played for head coach Kennon McWilliams at Olive Branch...led the Conquistadors to a 7-9-1 mark her senior year and third place finish in the district...had 15 assists her senior season...an all-district selection...twice earned the team's Hustle Award...off the field, a member of the Honor Roll, Principal's List, Mu Alpha Theta and the Interract Club. 

Personal: Daughter of Ray and Lori Newman...has two older brothers, Michael (22), who was a 2010 Academic All-American at Northwest, and Justin (24)...enjoys painting, reading and playing tennis in her free time...majoring in secondary education...born July 24, 1995.
