Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

2015-16: Played in all 26 games as a freshman...averaged 5.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game...scored a career-high 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting against Faith Prep Academy on Nov. 10...added 22 steals, 14 assists and nine blocks on the season...shot 38 percent from the floor and 44 percent from the free throw line...still drawing interest from nearly a dozen programs off the court as a high jumper. 

High School: Played for head coach Drew Tyler at Oxford...as a senior, averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game...helped the Chargers to a 28-5 record, division and north half championship and the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state playoffs his senior season...named the Daily Journal All-Area Player of the Year and 2014 "First to Fly" Dunk Champion at Jordan XX9 Event as a junior...also competed in track in high school, winning the 2015 state championship in the high jump event…2015 New Balance All-American high jumper...was recruited by Auburn, Ole Miss and N.C. State in track and field.

Personal: Son of Sharon and Michael McEwen...mother, Sharon, played basketball at University of Alabama-Huntsville...has two older sisters, Tasha (31) and Shanna (26)...enjoys bowling and reading in his spare time...studying pre-physical therapy...born April 6, 1996.
