2017-18: Played in 23 contests last season, starting in seven...averaged 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.5 minutes of action per game...pulled down a season-high of six rebounds in a divisional matchup at Holmes.

High School: Played for head coach Jerome Martin and graduated with honors from Independence…helped the Lady Wildcats to a 28-4 record, Region 2-3A title and second round appearance in the Class 3A state playoffs last season...also helped Independence to the semifinals of the Class 3A state playoffs during her junior season...averaged 4.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game as a senior...scored a season-high 11 points in a 76-48 win over Rosa Fort last November...received All-Region 2-3A and All-Tournament Team honors…also ran track at IHS...received interest from Itawamba, Northeast and Gulf Coast on the hardwood...off the court, involved with Interact Club, FCCLA, Spanish Club and Mu Alpha Theta.
 
Personal: Daughter of Terrie and Kelvin Walker…one of six siblings…cousin, Kristina Mays, played for Northwest from 2013-15…another cousin, Donica Cosby, played college basketball at Arkansas and currently plays overseas in Romania…enjoys shopping, studying and hanging out with friends in her spare time…studying nursing…nickname is “Kia”…born October 26, 1998.
