High School: Played for coach Blake Cooper at Horn Lake...named team captain as a senior and received team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards…named a DeSoto County All-Star as a senior…also participated in community service projects with other classmates.
 
Personal: Daughter of Angela M. Matthews…has three siblings, Ashley (27), Jasmine (26) and Isaiah (17)…cousin, Cedric Matthews, played basketball for Northwest and Delta State and is a member of the Northwest Sports Hall of Fame…enjoys drawing in her spare time…studying education…born December 20, 1997.
