2024 [Freshman]: Helped Northwest to a 27-20 overall record and the program’s fourth straight appearance in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament...played in 28 games, earning 15 starts...batted .289 for the season with a double, two triples, three home runs and 12 RBIs...finished 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts...went 2-for-3 at the plate in a pair of victories against Southeast Arkansas College and Jones College...also made five appearances in the circle, drawing one start...pitched 5.0 innings with six strikeouts against six walks, finishing the season with a 4.20 ERA...held opposing batters to a .167 average...struck out a career-best three batters in a relief outing at Copiah-Lincoln on March 16...off the field, a two-time selection to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and President’s List for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.

High School: Played for coach Julie Waters at Baldwyn...helped the Lady Bearcats to an appearance in the MHSAA Region 1-1A Playoffs as a senior...six-time all-region selection from 2018-23...also voted as Region 1-2A Pitcher of the Year following her junior season in 2022...was chosen to participate in the 2022 Mississippi Association of Coaches’ Class 1A/2A/3A All-Star Game...also played basketball, volleyball, ran track and competed in cheer for BHS...off the field, finished with the Highest Average Award in Health, Agriculture and Spanish I...received interest from several MACCC programs.

Personal: Daughter of Sandy and Jimmy Tyes...has two siblings, Sheneria (26) and Jimmy (24)...hobbies include playing cards, watching movies and hanging out with friends...studying psychology...born June 16, 2005.
