Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

Blue Mountain College [2014]: As a true freshman at BMC last spring, Avant unofficially hit .271 with two doubles, a home run and 10 RBIs to help the Lady Toppers to a 24-25 overall mark.

High School: Played for head Nikki Beal and graduated with honors at Lake Cormorant...named all-metro, all conference and all-state her junior and senior seasons at LCHS...awarded the best offense award her sophomore, junior and senior years and was named a Scholar Athlete...as a junior, Avant received the "BankPlus Player of the Week" award and helped lead the Lady Gators to a state runner-up finish...the Lady Gators won four consecutive district championships...2013 DeSoto County champs and 2011 north half champions...off the field, involved with FCA, Interact Club and the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Donna Avant...has two younger siblings, Hanna (17) and Caleb (16)...outside of softball, she likes being outside and spending time with family...studying business...born August 3, 1994.
