Justin Ware, LAT, ATC is an experienced athletic trainer with over 11 years of service in both the secondary school and community college level. He currently serves as a Senior Athletic Trainer for Athletico Physical Therapy and Director of Sports Medicine for Northwest Mississippi Community College.
He oversees our comprehensive sports medicine program, focusing on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation across multiple athletic disciplines. Known for his collaborative approach, Justin works closely with coaches, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for our athletes.
Beyond his clinical responsibilities, Justin is committed to professional development and leadership within athletic training. He serves as a New Hire Mentor for Athletico Physical Therapy, helping guide and support emerging clinicians as they transition into practice. He is a graduate of Athletico Physical Therapy’s Emerging Leaders Program, where he strengthened his leadership skills, expanded professional network, and developed strategies to better serve his organization and community. He is also a preceptor for the University of Mississippi’s MSAT Program, mentoring students through clinical education and fostering future generations of athletic trainers. Justin is actively involved with the Mississippi Athletic Trainers’ Association, serving as the Career Advancement Committee Chair and being a member of the Symposium Oversight Committee, where he advocates for growth opportunities and professional pathways within the field.
A dedicated steward of athletic training, he is passionate about advancing the standards of care, mentoring the next generation, and promoting the value of athletic trainers in healthcare.
