Men's and Women's head tennis coach Andy Wolf capped his first season at Northwest with a top-20 ITA national ranking on the women's side after leading the squad to it's first-ever NJCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship tournament. The ladies finished the season tied for 16th in the NJCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship standings. Wolf also guided a freshman-heavy men's squad to wins over conference foes Southwest and Holmes during his inaugural campaign.
Wolf arrived at Northwest after a stint at DeSoto Central, where he served as the Jaguars' tennis coach from 2021-23. While there, he helped DCHS to back-to-back Class 6A, Region II district championships in 2022-23, with multiple players qualifying for individual state championship tournaments.
Wolf began at DeSoto Central in 2016 teaching middle school World Geography and U.S. History, while also assisting with the Jags' middle school football program. Prior to his tenure at DeSoto Central, he was an insurance producer for Southaven-based State Farm agent Eric Irmscher from 2014-16 and served as an operations manager at FedEx from 1997-2013.
Wolf obtained his bachelor's degree in psychology from Crichton College in 1999 and received his master's in educational leadership from Western Governors University.
