2018: Played in eight games, compiling three total tackles on the season...earned his only interception (75 yds.) in a win at Southwest Mississippi...Academic All-MACJC honoree. 

High School: Played for coach Josh Morgan at Warren Central...helped guide the Vikings to a 9-4 overall record and the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs last year...made the playoffs all four seasons at Warren Central...compiled 70 total tackles as a senior, along with seven interceptions for 127 yards and three forced fumbles...also punted for the Vikings, with 59 punts for 2,064 yards, including a season-long of 68 yards against Madison Central...finished with 26 punts inside the 20-yard line last season...returned 34 punts for 227 yards in 2017...two-time all-county and all-district selection...played in the Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic...also played basketball for WCHS...off the field, a member of the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Son of Ali and Briggs Hopson...has two siblings, Liam (22) and Jane (16)...uncle, Jay Hopson, played at Ole Miss from 1988-91 and is currently the head football coach at Southern Miss...enjoys hunting in his spare time...studying general college...born April 8, 1999.
