2018: Saw limited action in nine games, mostly as backup quarterback...finished with 175 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries...also caught four passes for 24 yards. 

High School: Played for coach Ty Hardin at Houston..helped guide the Hilltoppers to a 9-4 overall record and the third round of the Class 3A state playoffs last season...totaled 3,348 combined yards as a senior...completed 72-of-164 attempts for 1,493 yards and nine touchdowns...had a career-long 88-yard completion vs. Itawamba Agricultural...rushed for 1,855 yards and 25 touchdowns on 199 carries...rushed for six touchdowns in a win against M.S. Palmer in 2017...also compiled 58 total tackles, three interceptions, two sacks and one fumble recovery...was part of four playoff teams at Houston...four-time all-region and three-time all-area and all-state selection...named Class 3A Offensive MVP...received interest from BYU, Memphis, Southern Miss, South Alabama, Louisiana and ULM before signing with Northwest...off the field, named to Student Council and was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Son of Temca and Demetrius Shephard...has three siblings, Amari (18), Demetria (17) and Tyler (13)...cousin, Ari Stewart, played basketball at USC...studying sports medicine...born October 13, 1999.
