Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

2022 [Freshman]: Played in six games for Northwest, helping the Rangers to the NJCAA Division I Football Playoffs...off the field, named to the President's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.

High School: Played for coach Craig Bowman at Hartfield Academy...helped the Hawks to a 9-3 record and a runner-up finish in the MAIS Class 6A playoffs as a senior...paved the way for the MAIS Class 6A offensive player of the year from his right tackle spot...selected to play in the MAIS Class 4A-5A-6A All-Star game...holds Hartfield Academy record in shot put...off the field, a consistent Honor Roll student at Hartfield Academy...received recruiting interest from Jackson State, Morgan State and multiple MACCC schools.

Personal: Son of Melvin Collins, Sr....has three siblings: Des, Corey and Calabe...enjoys fishing, painting and playing basketball in his free time...studying civil engineering...nickname is “Big Mel”...born May 21, 2004.
