High School: Played for coach Henry Johnson at Clarksdale...helped the Wildcats to a 7-5 record and the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs as a senior...netted 94 total tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries during his senior season...reached double digit tackles three times during the season...selected to the Mississippi Association of Coaches 4A All-State first team defense and to participate in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Game...received interest from Jackson State, Co-Lin, Coahoma, and East Mississippi.
