High School: Played for head coach Matt Wallace at DeSoto Central...helped the Jaguars to a 6-6 record as a senior...played in all 12 games for DCHS, completing 155 of his 252 passing attempts for 1,926 yards and 14 touchdowns...named DCHS Offensive Player of the Year, first team all-district and earned selections to the Commercial Appeal's Best of Preps and the Bernard Blackwell All-Star Game...was also part of Student Council...recruited by Memphis, UT-Martin, Austin Peay and Itawamba.
